Fabulous “Grange Golf” as golfers from the two Grange Over Sands Golf clubs meet in the Daily Mail Foursome event.

Grange Fell past President, Peter Clough playing off 17 handicap and his Partner John Redman also playing off 17 handicap, recently played hosts to their Daily Mail Foursomes opponents from Grange Golf Club. Grange Golf Club Past President Harry Horridge, handicap 7 and ex professional Steve Rooke playing off a handicap of 4 were treat by the home pair, to a very close, exciting and tense contest over the Grange Fell course.

The Match went to the 18th hole and only with the final put on that final hole did the visitors steal the win.

Harry and Steve now proceed to the next round and all at Grange Fell wish them the very best of luck.

Well done Peter and John for a valiant effort.

A new website launch brings with it a change in how everyone at the club can pre book Tee Times.

Once launched visitors to the area will be able to pre-book tee-times in advance via the website to suit there holiday plans whilst members will also be able to reserve their tee time.

There will be total visibility of the time the first tee and the course will be busy with roll ups still being possible but best planned with a quick glance at the online booking sheet.

We are privileged to be able to enjoy our golf in such magnificent surroundings and we have always been proud to share this with visitors. The new system simply makes this all the easier to achieve.
